“Less running and more throwing.”
That’s what Lamar Jackson thinks we’re going to see from the Todd Monken-led Baltimore Ravens offense in 2023. And with the playmakers he now has around him, that’s an exciting prospect for Jackson and the Ravens' Super Bowl aspirations.

The thought of Jackson passing more is likely to be met with derision from some, but those are the same people who trot out the unsubstantiated platitude that he’s a running back and not a quarterback, ignoring that the former Heisman Trophy winner led the league in passing touchdowns in his unanimous MVP season in 2019.
Not only did he lead the league in touchdown passes that year, but he also led the league in touchdowns on throws from the pocket. His 27 passing touchdowns on throws to his first read were the most in the league, while his nine touchdowns on throws beyond his first read ranked third.
