NFL Week 2 Injury Report: Key fantasy and DFS takeaways

A player's injury status can have a significant effect on both real life and fantasy football. So, each week, PFF injury analyst Mario Pilato will comb through the official injury reports for each NFL game and give updates and analysis for fantasy-relevant players.

Injuries are fluid, so make sure to stay up to date by following @PFF_Mario on Twitter.

Injury Analysis: Braxton Berrios is dealing with a heel injury but was able to log two full practices in a row. I expect him to be ready for Week 2.

C.J. Uzomah is battling a hamstring injury and registered a DNP on Friday and is unlikely to play in Week 2.

QB Zach Wilson suffered a bone bruise and meniscal tear in New York's first preseason game. He was seen getting some work in at practice this week, but I believe he is a couple of weeks away from returning.

Injury Analysis: Mike Evans is dealing with a minor calf injury. I expect him to play in Week 2 without limitations.

RB Leonard Fournette, WR Russell Gage and WR Chris Godwin have hamstring injuries. I expect Fournette and Gage to play in Week 2. Godwin has been ruled out, and I expect him to miss two to three weeks.

WR Breshad Perriman and WR Julio Jones have suffered knee injuries. I expect Perriman to play but Julio is truly a game-time decision.

RB Alvin Kamara has logged two straight DNPs and is questionable with a rib injury. There is a very real chance Kamara misses this week, and RB Mark Ingram who is questionable with an ankle injury is likely to play.

Brandon Bolden was a DNP all week due to a hamstring issue. I do not expect him to play. I believe he is dealing with a Grade 1 strain, RTP one to three weeks.
